We've been a whole month in Israel and are leaving early Friday morning so this will be my last mobile lifestyle ezine for a while!
We've had an amazing time despite several vicious terrorist attacks during our stay. Israel is a place where people live life like they mean it. Everything seems louder, more colourful and more emotional than it tends to be back home in the UK.
 
I do enjoy the quiet life though and will be happy to get back to my sleepy little village and country walks.

The older I get the more I appreciate my daily routine and quiet time.  If you're someone who likes to party then Israel is definitely a location to put on your holiday map if you're a braveheart!

If you'd like to understand more about Israel I'm reading a brilliant book called 'The Covenant' by Naomi Ragen.

It explains a lot in a an easy to read fiction format about the Arab- Israeli conflict and history of Israel. 
 
The European media distorts the facts and is so pro-Arab I rarely watch the news at home but when I'm here all those feelings of when we lived here are reawakened.  I'm not getting political - just sharing my personal experience with you.

Anyway this week I've whipped up a blog post for you about living the mobile lifestyle and what you need to make it happen. Check it out and leave me a comment. Let me know what you think. It's a good idea to start with some mini trips first and then you can gradually travel for longer if you enjoy it.
 
You can operate from as nearby as your local Starbucks, a corner of your garden or like we're doing - spend a big chunk of the school hols away with the kids. Multiple streams of income is the key so be sure to read that if you want more freedom in your life.


I've been having a very low key lazy time except for sending the occasional email & doing some reading while I've been here - haven't done much at all. It's been a lovely break but now I'm itching to get back into action so look out for an email from me next week with important information on how I can help you get your business on the internet map as an expert in your niche who gets found online and creates income on auto-pilot.

The Mobile Lifestyle & Multiple Streams of Income

Well my Summer experiment of keeping my business flourishing whilst travelling and on vacation for a month is almost coming to an end.

Well my Summer experiment of keeping my business flourishing whilst travelling and on vacation for a month is almost coming to an end.

August is a funny old month in business - great things can happen but I've found over the years it 's an excellent time to get away and take advantage of the slower season.  Note I don't mean stopping all activity!

But that's the beauty of the internet and the mobile lifestyle isn't it?

As long as you can get a little spot with wifi and you've got your laptop (or even your smart phone) then you're open for business. I've opened up office in my mother in law's 'garden of eden' as I call it.  A shady little spot on the patio, a cup of tea and I'm all set.

I admit that sometimes it's not quite as easy as it sounds. When you have kids and you're on a family holiday of course you're going to have to be very smart with your time and allow for inevitable distractions.

It's a good idea to prepare some content for your blog or ezine before you leave so that you only have to do the minimum whilst away. I've done a couple of hours in the morning here and there and kept the rest of the days free to enjoy  being here with my family. Jim Rohngave some great advice that I try to follow, 'wherever you are be there.'

On the other hand it is SO much easier than being tied to a local business or job where you can't go away for more than a week or two.

The internet and social media tools have opened up a whole new vista and whether you have a full blown internet empire you're building or just using the internet to promote your business in your niche it is all much easier these days to stay in touch with your customers and to generate new business on auto-pilot while you're out and about.

Multiple streams are the key so if you're feeling limited by being confined to one or two types of income
