Things are really gaining momentum again
after the long holiday period so I have A LOT
of OUTSTANDING stuff to share with you.
Remember to take the best (for you) and leave the
rest (for later or never.)
One of the important marketing and business
skills you need to develop is the ability to
observe world class marketers in action so that
you can start to model their strategies and behaviour
where appropriate WITHOUT feeling 'sold to.'
I'm always intrigued to hear people say things like
'she was trying to sell to me,' or 'he was always
selling something,' when they sign up to receive
marketing training from a marketer!
I mean how can you or (they) for that matter learn
world class marketing skills if they don't like
being sold to?
We're not robots - we're thinking individuals but often
we've been programmed to follow the 'herd' and
do what everyone else is doing.
And what do most other people do?
The complain with a capital C cause for some reason
complaining is considered cool in many circles.
But you are different because you want to develop
a lifestyle that the complainers can only dream about
don't you?
That's why you can't allow yourself to be programmed
with that lack mentality.
If you won't invest in yourself it's unlikely that
people will invest in you and your services
because they will feel the quick buck syndrome
is at play.
When people offer me money for my consulting
or services if I don't genuinely believe I can help
them and they are someone I can deliver huge value
to I don't take their money.
I'm serious. My time, my craft and my reputation
is worth everything to me and I won't risk it for a
quick buck.
Have a think about that and how you will or do
operate when people offer you money for your
services.
What I want to teach you or remind you of is that
you can pick and choose the programmes, products
and services that I connect you up with ...
I am not attached to whether you as an individual buy
from me or sign up with me for consulting or whatever
This is a process where my mission is to teach you
what I learn as I learn and develop it.
So when I show you something cool it's because I
have personally invested my own time, energy and
GUTS into developing it OR
I've studied with a master (or mistress) who is
passing it on to me.
I want to pass it on to you.
Will you accept it?
That is entirely up to you and I want you to invest
in yourself where appropriate but not treat your
business like a mad shopping spree in Oxford Street
at Christmas!
You are responsible for your cash flow - not your
coach, nor your upline or even your partner.
Think about the skills you need to develop and figure out
where and how you want to learn them and with who.
That's it.
I'm not exaggerating when I tell you I invested £10k ($16k)
in advertising my very first year in business. (I now prefer to
generate free leads social media and internet style)
Do you think I learned a thing or two about how to talk to
prospects and clients on the phone?
Do you think I learned how to convert people into happy
customers, clients and business partners?
Do you think I know something about juggling credit cards
and cash flow?
Or about running a retail business and training a team?
You can bet I do because I learned in the trenches with some
of the very best!
I cashed £40k (approx $70k) of sales my first year working part time
from home around my 2 girls (ages 4 and 6)
Big deal you might say but let's keep in mind that
I had never had a business before, had no business or
marketing training, had just moved countries, lived in a tiny
village and was studying for a BA at the same time!
My little one was in nursery for just 2 hours per day and
I had ONE phone connection and used to make my calls
standing or squatting in the hallway cause for some reason it
was stuck there with a cord!
I kid you not!
That's how inexperienced & hungry for success I was.
I enrolled people in Singapore, America, Canada, Israel and UK and
I built a ninja retailing business in the UK to the point where I was selected
to speak on the stage in Italy in front of 7000 people for my network marketing
company's (at the time) leadership convention.
Take a peak at me in action: 
My speciality was in developing a weight loss and wellness clientele of
repeat customers and frankly that skill was what kept me alive and
in the game by putting cash in my pocket.
Now I have an internet expert's business model
but I digress as what I want to make sure you have the chance to
review is this:
What I shared with you just now was all true - it was part
of my story and if you want to get paid as an expert you
need to develop your story & know your mission.
You need to be able to draw people in with your
writing and speaking just like I got your
attention just now.
Brendan Burchard is the master of the Expert Industry and
I only discovered his stuff AFTER I wrote my book
but you can bet I've been studying him big time ever
since!
The training videos are completely free and you can
learn more by watching them than you will from many
paid products.
So again I ask will you take the time to see if the
expert industry is really for you?
I hope so and remember that Brendon is an expert
marketer so he will be selling something
(Life-changing) at the end of his video series but
whether you invest in it is entirely up to you.

to be paid as an expert sharing your advice and
knowledge as a coach, author, consultant, speaker
or information marketer.
