How's it going?

Today's ezine challenge is all about testing whether your business model suits

your ideal lifestyle & income goals.

I'm not talking fancy cars and swimming pools although if that floats your boat

then I'm cheering you on of course.

I'm talking about the real stuff; you know the way you really want to spend

your time when money is no longer the big issue.

You may think that once you have the money issue out of the way you won't

need to do much and you'll just sit their drinking cocktails on the beach?

It's a nice dream but as you're a loyal subscriber over here at Marketing & Mindset

I think I know you better than that!

Sure we'll sip some cocktails but as creators and entrepreneurs we were born

to create and produce so for example my big dream is to be able to spend

as much time as I fancy researching & writing my books.

I can see myself doing it from any location - whether at home or away :)

And I already do that to a certain extent because I've picked the right business

model for my lifestyle goals.

My business doesn't just stop when I go on hols because it's set up with automated

systems & works online even when I don't!

So today's challenge is for you to have a think about your biz/work model &

I'm not saying you have to be an author to do this.

When I work one on one with my clients to help them map out their business

model and start or develop their biz online I often notice how incongruent their

current choices are with the lifestyle they actually want to live.

Start now with the business model that matches your lifestyle goals.

Why not position yourself in the right direction from today?

Even if you feel you must continue with your current business or job to pay the

mortgage you can now begin a gradual shift towards the business model that will fulfil

you.

I don't know about you but my idea of fun is never having to think much about money - how about if it just flows in as a result of the value you give to the market place?

Sitting on the beach as you travel to your favourite destinations or sitting snuggly at home doing whatever it is you love to do.

So what are your lifestyle goals? If for example you dream of travelling the world

& having the income to do that then having a 'local' business where you need to meet with

clients to earn cash isn't going to get you there.

It's common sense but as you probably noticed sometimes that can be quite uncommon!

Take a few minutes just now if you can to jot down your lifestyle goals, modest or

grand - they are the right ones for you and only you can decide to set up your

business so you can get closer to actually living them.
