Well hello and how are you today?

Hope you're doing great and getting this last quarter of the year rocking.

If there's one thing I've learned from having my own home business for nearly 10

years it's that what you do in this quarter directly impacts the results you

get in 2013 so snoozing is definitely not an option.

Today we're talking about getting the help you so desperately need to

grow your small business even if you don't have the budget for employees or

if like me you just don't want them!

The gurus talk about big teams of employees and if that's what you want then all

power to you but personally the idea of managing a big staff leaves me cold.

I guess I had enough of that in the corporate world.

So what's a girl (or boy) to do if they want to get professional help but don't want to manage or pay employees?

Luckily for us there is a simple solution today and there are two parts to it:

1) Outsourcing

2) Automation tools

I know it's kinda sad but the amazing tools available on the internet today

replace employees for automated tasks and are often far more reliable!

BUT if it's a skilled real person in the flesh you need then that's no problem

either because you can outsource.

You can hire a long term virtual assistant if you wish OR you can hire people

per task, per project or per hour.

There is an amazing pool of talent available now and it's just growing due

to the economic downturn.

I'm being polite here & must have been watching too much news.

Let's face it 'the economy' is in the poopy & we must become our own economy!

Anyone relying on a traditional business model to create their secure future

may as well be wishing on a star or hoping vinyl records will start selling again.

But this unfortunate turn of events makes it very easy for solo entrepreneurs and small business owners to hire the creme of the crop for very reasonable rates.

We would never have access to these people so easily when things were booming.

If you don't mind working with web designers or virtual assistants based in the

Philippines the quality of candidates & the hourly rate is unbelievable.

You can go to sleep at night knowing someone in a far distant land is working on

your stuff. I love this!

If you prefer to keep it closer to home then just hire outsourcers from your country

or ask for recommendations on your social media networks & groups.

There really is NO reason not to tap into this pool of talent so don't let fear

of the unknown stop you utilising the automated tools and the big dog outsourcing

sites to find the people you need to help you.

And yes you will need to fish around a bit until you find the person who suits you

and you may need to try several candidates but it's no biggie.

Start with one simple task as a trial and you'll immediately know if you're a fit.

So this week's challenge is ... yes you guessed it you cheeky thing!

Look through the tools available to leverage your time

and business online and/or consider hiring a part-time virtual assistant or other outsourcer through sites such as guru.com or elance.com
