I'm sharing my dark night of the soul with you today.

 

I didn't plan to do this but feel compelled now so I juggled my schedule

around and made this a priority because it may have a major impact on YOU.

 

For the past couple of years I've been doing a lot of spiritual personal development

and recently trained as a law of attraction coach.  

 

This wasn't to get the certificate, although I have it, but more for my own

personal growth as I've been fascinated by metaphysics since I

discovered a dusty old volume of universal secrets on my Aunt's bookshelf when

I was about 14.

 

to fulfill a calling to connect with an even bigger message and purpose

than ever before.

 

When your business niche isn't fully aligned with your life purpose things can

get really foggy and confusing.

 

You may be feeling like I was a while ago.

 

Even if you're generally excited about your business, not having 100%

clarity on HOW your business niche serves your bigger purpose can 

cause mild-extreme pain and a feeling of emptiness.

 

Yes I said the thing that you don't very often hear.

 

It's not all roses and chocolates & rah rah pay days.

 

When you do this kind of work you can find yourself on a roller coaster

of highs and lows, pain and power.

 

I wanted to explore these feelings and go deeper in my niche work

Many of us small & home business owners, especially creatives, coaches &

teachers feel a tangible yearning to connect with something bigger than just a

'marketing message.'

 

In fact when gurus such as Brendon Burchard talk about getting your

big message out there I know that many wish fervently that they actually

knew what their big message was & feel disappointed at their lack

of passion & purpose.

 

After all - how can you get your big message out there if you don't feel

passionate and completely aligned with any one message at all?

 

Does that sound familiar?

 

Many of these very same gifted coaches, consultants, writers, teachers & small

business owners are able to help others reach their potential but are blindsided

when it comes to their own gifts and life purpose.

 

It took me a long, long time to begin to connect up my business niche with my

life purpose and I'm still experiencing dramatic shifts and up-leveling 

every day.

 

It would have been so much quicker if I'd got some help from someone

who understands this but my mentors were male & very focused on

strategy and results.

 

Business owners often think 'niche' is just a tiresome marketing thing that

you need to figure out and it's one more item to put on the to do list.

 

You know; something like this perhaps ...

 

• Record video for website
  
•  Write a blog post
• Figure out this niche stuff ...
  

And of course the big irony is that without niche clarity, the video and the blog

I know that you know there is truth in this - that's why 20% of business owners are

visible online and 80% lie wounded & unattended on social media boulevard

with no fascinated crowd magnetically drawn to them.

 

People don't stop to chat - they just step right over to reach the next post which

resonates with them & has been created by someone with 'niche knowing.'

 

Anyway I'm getting a little esoteric on you today but there is a point to

my sharing my deepest secrets with you & I hope my transparency helps

you even in some small way.

 

You won't need to take weeks off to soul search or travel to an Ashram

to meditate like Elizabeth in Eat, Pray, Love. (Great book by the way)

and I've seen many wonderfully talented people quit and go home because

they just can't figure this out to move forward.
