I've been feeling extra grateful the past few days after seeing the devastation from Hurricane Sandy
in the US. If this relates to you please know we're thinking of you & sending love & prayers for your
safety.
On Monday we spent the whole day in London to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday & our
mission was to visit the famous markets and help her find some vintage outfits after she was
inspired by a youtube style guru.
Ella was disappointed that she didn't manage to buy much at Spitalfields Market & Portobello
Road so we ended up zooming to Westfield, the Olympic shopping centre which proved more
successful.
The market trip is a great day out but it's luck of the draw with what you'll actually find.
I'm having a chilled week with the kids off school and taking some time for my creative projects.

Is It Just a s Simple Marketing Problem?
Whilst I'm all for stepping up and aligning with the universe
to bring things to us, I'm frequently amazed at how often people
expect their business to work online without testing the
fundamentals and knowing the latest 'what's working now'
strategies from the online space.
You can be all about flow, ease and attraction but as you
may have already realised you also need to help yourself
in the physical world with some practical knowledge too!
A few months back I went deep into Ryan Deiss's Marketing
Labs because I wanted to learn how to leverage authority
websites such as Amazon, Apple, Google and YouTube.
It's fair to say I thought I knew A LOT of winning strategies
but what I discovered shocked me.
What I learned (and am still devouring) in his labs
is like a MASTERS degree in digital marketing.
(Is there any other type these days?)
So if you're making offers and they're not converting
or your content just isn't being picked up around the internet
like you hoped it would be ...
