November 27th 2013 Ezine - Issue #166
Hi
Well the holiday countdown is already on and I can see people
mentally closing their business down already.
I'm all for having fun but urge you to keep pushing yourself
to close out the year strong because that way you enter
2014 with momentum.
And a Happy Thanksgiving to you if you celebrate.
I don't know why it is but I do know that if you keep taking action
to attract new clients, good things will happen even if your next new client
comes from a completely different source!
This week's challenge is about creating your personal brand so that
you can more easily attract the people and opportunities you want.
If you get your personal branding wrong you can do more harm than good
so read on below.
Love and success

p.s In honour of the holiday season keep an eye on your inbox for a very special offer where you'll be able to get access to my popular Niche Expert Bootcamp at a snippet of the usual investment.
p.p.s I figure even though we don't have Black Friday here in the UK, wherever
you are you probably love a good deal and if you don't have everything in place to generate your own leads online and attract clients then this is what you need. :)
The Challenge - How to Create Your Personal Brand to Market Yourself As An Expert Authentically
The line between sales, marketing and personal branding is a fine one in this new digital world.
To market your company or yourself as an expert in your field it's essential that you build an expert brand.
But that's easier said than done isn't it?
And all the more so if you lack experience of branding or online marketing.
It gets even more challenging when you realise that to market yourself as an expert coach, consultant, author, speaker or trainer, you really need to create a personal brand.
The old stuffy, corporate way of doing things just doesn't cut it online.
Your perfect clients want to know who the real person is behind the brand.
In today's digital world you'll get brownie points for being transparent.

I've been busy! After buying your "Niche Expert" book we refocused our marketing on content. We now have an opt in fortnightly newsletter, Perform, which is steadily growing its circulation. We also became Kindle publishers to promote our expertise through Kindle. But, serendipity took over and we have published three books for others and I was asked to write a management book for an american book publisher. It is as they say, you can never tie cause and effect, but it does work!

Hi Rachel
I just finished your book recently (bought it from Waterstones) and it inspired me to start my own business designing creative illustrated products for children which I hope to launch really soon. It was just the push I needed to be honest and helped me to realise that I knew a lot more about my niche subject than I first thought!
Cheers, Simon Wild
