I notice that Christmas and the holidays can trigger a lot of insecurity as we can put so much pressure on ourselves to create
the perfect experience for our families. The truth is that our loved ones are perfectly capable of creating their own wonderful experience of Christmas, Hanukkah or whatever holidays you celebrate.
It's not how much money you spend and how many gadgets you buy your kids that makes them happy anyway even though it can really look like it is! That being said the threat of a clementine and a bag
of nuts doesn't seem to go down too well in our house. ;)
Wherever you're at with the gifts and the holiday planning remember that being present with your kids (and other loved ones) rather than scrolling your Facebook feed saying 'umm' and 'yeah' but not really listening is the best present you can give.
Enjoy!
