But people repeatedly decry either a lack of information or feel overwhelmed due to what they experience as an excess of it.

If information was really what we needed to be successful, there’d be a lot more business owners and high achievers on Facebook who are really enjoying the quality of life that they talk so much about.

The majority seem to be chasing a future dream of happiness which they imagine will suddenly arrive when they have the six or seven figure business or whatever it is they think that automatically provides happiness.

What we really need to be happy and ‘successful’ whatever that means to you, is more INSIGHT.

When you are open to insight, the information you have at your fingertips becomes magical because you’re guided by a sense of knowing what’s right for you and so can effortlessly sift through vast amounts of information, discard what you don’t need and follow through on what makes sense.

When you’re not aware that what you’re missing is a deeper sense of the value of your own insights on your unique situation, it’s easy to be mistaken in thinking that when you discover the big ‘secret,’ i.e; more missing information, you’ll then have what you need to be happy and successful.

And on it goes. I lived in this frustrating seeker cycle for years and bump into people everyday who are so stuck in it they have no idea it’s even happening.

Some of them are already very ‘successful’ but they don’t enjoy it because they’re always looking for the next secret, or they worry it may be snatched away at any moment cause they don’t understand how it happened. How did they get this lucky?

Have you noticed that there are never enough secrets? There’s always another one more you need before you can relax?

It’s like a constant thirst for the next drink … all the drinks in the world will never be enough to quench a thirst that’s unquenchable because the thirst was never the real problem.

Instead of chasing down the next secret piece of information, look for a glimpse of fresh thought when you’re not trying so hard to work it all out. That’s when INSIGHT strikes.

Once you allow space for your own insights and can actually receive them because you’re not off frantically chasing information, your life will change for the better.

You’ll be able to fully enjoy the moment you’re in because you’ll suddenly see that you already have everything you need to be happy and successful at life right now.

And then information just becomes part of the game rather than something you desperately need more of to be okay.

You can apply this to anything you might be desperately thinking you need more of such as money, clients, recognition or love.

When we can see this, being fearless becomes are natural state because we don’t need anything more to be ourselves.
