I used to dislike expressions like this but now I see the truth in them. Fortunately fear isn’t the big, tangible block I believed it to be for most of my life.
At Living Fearlessly I share the simple understanding which effortlessly dissolves fear. There’s no need to fight the fear, break through blocks or become a battle hardened warrior, to create what you want.
What a relief to know this! In fact, it’s so important to me to get this message out, it’s the subtitle of my new book, Living Fearlessly.
You may not immediately relate to feeling fearful or being afraid. Society conditions us to pretend we’re tough and not scared. We don’t want to look like losers and be judged as less than.
But it’s normal for us all to feel afraid sometimes. It’s only a feeling. It’s not the big deal
people make it out to be. We turn it into a big deal when we don’t understand how it works.
Here’s an excerpt from my soon to be published book:
‘Anxiety and fears manifest in our behaviour. They may show up as eating disorders, self-harming, addictions to toxic substances, social avoidance, fear of public speaking, fear of flying, agoraphobia, relationship drama, needing to prove oneself, or numerous other phobias.
Emotionally or psychologically, fears and anxiety often show up
as feelings of unworthiness, depression, guilt, sadness, self-doubt, procrastination, perfectionism, overwhelm and/or fear of failure. Physiological symptoms could be anything from panic attacks, excessive sweating, nervous rashes, nausea, blushing, palpitations, pins and needles, headaches and shortness of breath, to name the most common.
There is no end to the number of problems we can
create for ourselves when we don’t understand what’s going on ‘under the hood’ of our minds. We use the infinite creative potential of the universe against our greater good and it’s popular to call it self-sabotage.’
Self-doubt can really get in the way of us taking action towards our goals and dreams.
This is why this understanding facilitates such a game-changing shift for people. When we get the instruction manual on how our human ’software’ works, we naturally begin to operate it more effectively.
We have more mental freedom to create what we want and have more of an enjoyable time
doing so. We’re not so attached to the outcome because we see for ourselves that it doesn’t make or break us.
This is why, at least from one level of consciousness, everything we want exists beyond fear. The great news is it’s an effortless leap when we understand how fear works.
